Xiaomi’s flagship lineup may be gearing up for another big leap. After the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max debuted in September 2025 as a high-end smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and featuring a distinctive secondary display, a fresh leak is now pointing to what could be its next successor.

While the post didn’t confirm the official product name, speculation in the comments suggests it may be the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. According to the leak, Qualcomm’s next flagship chip family is expected to include two variants: the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and a higher-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. The Pro version is rumored to be an octa-core chip built on TSMC’s cutting-edge 2nm manufacturing process.
