Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra Leak Spills Global Launch Timeline and Full Price List

Fresh leaks are shedding more light on Xiaomi’s next wave of premium smartphones, with new details pointing to the expected global pricing and configurations for the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. While Xiaomi hasn’t officially confirmed when it will replace the Xiaomi 15 series outside China, multiple recent reports suggest the international rollout is close—and now a well-known leaker has added more specifics.

According to the latest information, the Xiaomi 17 is expected to launch in Europe at €1,099 (including VAT) for a model with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. That same source also claims there will be a lower-priced entry version: €999 for 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. If these numbers hold, the Xiaomi 17 would land at roughly the same global price as the previous generation, positioning it as a compact flagship that doesn’t change Xiaomi’s pricing strategy much year over year, despite ongoing shifts in component costs and competition in the high-end market.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra, meanwhile, is tipped to start at €1,499 for a configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. A higher-tier version with 1 TB of storage could also be offered, reportedly costing €200 more—bringing that option to around €1,699. For buyers who prioritize onboard storage for photos, 4K/8K video, and large apps, that 1 TB variant could be one of the most appealing Ultra configurations Xiaomi has offered internationally.

One detail that may matter to power users is battery capacity. The global Xiaomi 17 Ultra is rumored to ship with a 6,000 mAh battery, which is said to be smaller than the 6,800 mAh version expected in Chinese models. If accurate, this could be a regional trade-off that affects endurance for some buyers, especially those choosing the Ultra specifically for heavy daily use.

As for timing, current expectations point to a global launch date of February 28 for both the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Xiaomi still hasn’t publicly confirmed these plans, but the steady flow of consistent pricing and configuration leaks suggests an official announcement may be just around the corner.
