Recent leaks suggest that Oppo and Vivo are preparing to launch their next-generation Ultra smartphones in China, but international buyers may be left out this time. According to the latest information, the Oppo Find X10 Ultra and Vivo X500 Ultra are expected to debut in the Chinese market, with no global release currently planned.
That would be a disappointing shift for smartphone enthusiasts outside China, particularly because the current-generation Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra marked a major step forward by reaching global markets. Their wider availability gave more users access to top-tier camera hardware, premium displays, powerful processors, and advanced battery technology that were previously often limited to China-only releases.
If the new leak proves accurate, Oppo and Vivo may be returning to their older strategy of keeping their most advanced Ultra models exclusive to their home market.
