ViewDock Unveils Global Mini-PC with Built-In Display and Integrated Wireless Charging Dock

ViewDock is taking its mini PC ambitions global with the ViewDock G2, a compact desktop designed to stand out thanks to a built-in display and wireless connectivity. While mini PCs are often praised for saving desk space, this model aims to be an all-in-one-style solution without the bulk of a traditional desktop tower.

One of the biggest talking points is the range of AMD Ryzen processors ViewDock says will be available. The ViewDock G2 may ship with any of the following APUs: AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, Ryzen 5 7640H, Ryzen 7 7735H, Ryzen 7 7840H, Ryzen 9 7940H, or Ryzen 7 8845H. That’s a wide spread across multiple Ryzen generations, which can mean meaningful differences in real-world speed, graphics performance, and power efficiency depending on which chip ends up inside your unit. ViewDock hasn’t shared additional details yet, so buyers may want to pay close attention to final configurations as the campaign develops.

Pricing depends on how early you get in. ViewDock lists a starting price of $639 for the first 200 Kickstarter-backed units. For shoppers who want a more clearly defined configuration, the company is also offering the mini PC at $889 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. There are also 1 TB storage options: a 16 GB RAM model for $999, and a 32 GB RAM version for $1,299.

As for timing, ViewDock says it’s aiming to start shipping to backers in August 2026. The company notes it successfully shipped its ViewDock Docking Station last year, which may reassure some potential backers. Still, as with any crowdfunding hardware project, there’s always a risk of delays—or in the worst case, losing the money if the product doesn’t make it to full delivery.
