For 2024, Samsung takes a classical turn with an orchestral arrangement of Over the Horizon, performed by the renowned Seoul National University Gugak Orchestra under the leadership of music director Won Il. Won Il is not new to the spotlight, having been the music director for the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics.
The new orchestral version has been recorded in Dolby Atmos to offer listeners an immersive audio experience and was mastered by sound director Byeong Joon Hwang. Samsung invites its audience to experience the Galaxy S24 ringtone through their official YouTube channel.
Further engaging its audience, Samsung has released a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of this year’s Over the Horizon, with interviews featuring both Won Il and Byeong Joon Hwang.
