Nise-Eikoku Studio has revealed their upcoming game, Labyrinth of Touhou Tri: The Dreaming Girls & The Mysterious Orbs, a new addition to the Touhou series of dungeon RPGs. Scheduled for release on Windows PC via platforms like Steam and DLSite, the game is expected to arrive this winter or possibly in early 2025.
The game invites players to form a party of 12 characters from a pool of over 40, each equipped with an extensive array of more than 1000 skills. Players can expect a playtime ranging between 30 to 50 hours as they delve into challenging dungeons filled with formidable bosses.
Notably, the game offers a variety of enemy types, from Rare Enemies that provide significant experience points to Giant Enemies and Special Enemies, each presenting unique challenges and valuable drops. Players can manipulate enemy spawn rates to find the perfect balance for farming and strategy development. This dynamic requires players to leverage consistent strategies and growth through grinding.
Boss battles are designed to be intricate, where recognizing patterns and weaknesses is key to overcoming the challenge. The game includes mechanics that allow players to refight bosses for additional rewards. These refights can be approached with level restrictions to earn special rewards, adding another layer of depth to the gameplay.
Each character features an extensive skill tree, allowing for personalized growth and synergy within the party. Players will need to carefully choose which characters to invest in and how to develop their skill sets to create effective strategies for the tougher battles that lie ahead.
Overall, Labyrinth of Touhou Tri promises an engaging experience, combining intricate character management with strategic combat, set within the familiar and richly detailed world of Gensokyo.
