Ugreen has officially launched the Nexode Air 65W Charger in the United States, giving laptop and smartphone users a compact new option for fast USB-C charging. The charger is also expected to arrive in Europe, including a UK version, though an exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
Designed with MacBook Air users in mind, the Ugreen Nexode Air 65W Charger delivers enough power to handle everyday laptop charging while remaining small enough to carry in a bag, pocket, or travel pouch. Despite its MacBook Air-focused marketing, the charger can also be used with a wide range of USB-C devices, including smartphones, tablets, earbuds, portable gaming devices, and other compatible laptops.
The charger features a single USB-C port with up to 65W output. According to Ugreen, that power is enough to charge a MacBook Air from 0% to around 55% in 30 minutes. It can also charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max to approximately 68% in the same amount of time, making it a practical option for users who need a quick battery boost before leaving home, heading to class, or boarding a flight.
One of the biggest selling points of the Nexode Air 65W Charger is its compact design. Ugreen uses GaN technology, which helps reduce charger size while maintaining strong power delivery and efficient heat control. The charger also uses the company’s Airpyra stacked internal architecture to keep the body small without sacrificing performance.
The Nexode Air 65W measures approximately 1.22 x 1.30 x 1.59 inches, or about 31.0 x 33.0 x 40.4 mm. It weighs just 72.9 g, or around 2.6 oz, making it significantly more portable than many traditional laptop power adapters. This makes it especially appealing for travelers, remote workers, students, and anyone who wants to replace bulky chargers with a smaller all-in-one USB-C solution.
Ugreen has also included several safety features in the charger. The device offers eight layers of protection, including Thermal Guard technology to help prevent overheating. These protections are designed to monitor charging conditions and reduce risks related to temperature, voltage, current, and short circuits.
Another useful addition is the included 100W USB-C to USB-C cable. The cable is 5 feet, or around 1.5 meters, long and supports data transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbps. It also features a braided exterior that matches the color of the charger, giving the package a more premium and coordinated look.
The Ugreen Nexode Air 65W Charger is available in four color options: dark gray, orange, white, and blue. This gives users more choice than the typical black or white charger and makes it easier to match the accessory with laptops, phones, desks, or travel gear.
The charger is now available through Ugreen’s official online store and its Amazon storefront in the US. It is priced at $39.99, but Ugreen plans to discount it to $24.99 during Amazon Prime Day in June. At that lower price, the Nexode Air 65W could become a strong option for anyone looking for a compact fast charger for a MacBook Air, iPhone, iPad, or other USB-C device.
