Ugreen has officially launched its new PB603 power bank in China, and it’s already turning heads thanks to a design that looks very different from the typical smooth, brick-style portable charger. The company recently teased the “P6” model, and just days later the product is now official with a price tag of CNY 299, which works out to around $44.
What makes the Ugreen PB603 stand out at first glance is the grooved exterior. Ugreen hasn’t explained whether the ridges are meant to improve grip, help with durability, or simply create a more distinctive look, but it’s clearly a deliberate shift away from the usual minimalist power bank styling.
Beyond the unusual body design, the PB603 is positioned as a practical fast-charging option. It packs a 10,000mAh battery and supports up to 45W fast charging, making it a strong fit for users who want quicker top-ups for modern smartphones and other USB-C gadgets. Ugreen also emphasizes battery safety, claiming the PB603 uses the same type of battery cells used in Apple smartphones. According to the company, these cells are designed with enhanced safety in mind, including resistance to catching fire even under extreme physical stress like squeezing or puncture.
Ugreen also highlights improved longevity. The company claims a 166% cycle-life improvement compared with its earlier generation models, which suggests the PB603 is built not just for speed, but for longer-term everyday use over many recharge cycles.
Another key feature is the integrated display. Images shared by Ugreen indicate the built-in screen can show real-time charging information such as power output and the remaining battery percentage, which is useful if you want a clearer idea of charging speed and how much power you have left without relying on simple indicator LEDs.
The power bank also includes a built-in cable that supports 45W fast charging, a convenience feature for travel and commuting since it reduces the need to carry an extra cord. While Ugreen hasn’t fully detailed the full port selection yet, product images suggest there should be at least one additional port, which would allow charging two devices at the same time.
For now, the Ugreen PB603 is confirmed for China at about $44, and a wider international release is expected in the near future.
