Ugreen PB792 Power Bank Debuts With 20,000mAh Capacity, Retractable USB-C Cable, and 45W Fast Charging
Ugreen has introduced a new portable charger in China, and it looks like a strong option for anyone who wants high-capacity charging without carrying extra cables. The new Ugreen PB792, also known as the Ugreen P7 45W, packs a 20,000mAh battery, a built-in retractable USB-C cable, and up to 45W fast charging support.
The biggest highlight is the integrated USB-C cable. Instead of forcing users to bring a separate charging cable, Ugreen has built one directly into the power bank. The cable extends to 70cm, or about 2.3 feet, making it practical for charging a phone, tablet, or other device while on the move. When not in use, it retracts neatly into the body of the power bank, helping keep bags and desks free from cable clutter.
Alongside the built-in Type-C cable, the Ugreen PB792 also includes an additional USB-C port and a USB-A port. This gives users more flexibility when charging multiple devices at once. While Ugreen has not detailed the exact charging speed of each individual port, the power bank supports a maximum output of 45W. That level of output makes it suitable not only for smartphones and wireless earbuds, but also for tablets, handheld gaming devices, and some lightweight laptops that support USB-C charging.
Another useful feature is the small built-in display on the side of the device. Instead of relying on basic LED indicators, the screen can show key charging information more clearly, including the remaining battery percentage and power output. Ugreen says the display is interactive and does not require a companion app, which should make it easier for users to check charging status at a glance.
Durability also appears to be a focus for this model. The retractable USB-C cable uses a TPE exterior and has reportedly passed 10,000 bend tests without significant damage. That should help ease concerns about the long-term reliability of a built-in cable, especially for users who plan to carry the power bank daily.
Despite its large 20,000mAh capacity, the Ugreen P7 45W is described as having a sleek and relatively thin design. That combination could make it appealing to travelers, students, commuters, and remote workers who need extra power without adding too much bulk to their bags. Ugreen has also included multiple safety protection features designed to support stable and secure charging.
The Ugreen PB792 launched in China at CNY 269, which is roughly $40. There is currently no confirmed global release date, but Ugreen often brings many of its accessories to international markets after their initial launch in China.
With its large battery, retractable USB-C cable, digital display, and 45W fast charging capability, the Ugreen PB792 could become a convenient all-in-one power bank for users who want fewer cables and more charging flexibility on the go.
