Tudor is back with a fresh motorsport-inspired release, unveiling the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26, a new carbon fiber chronograph that builds directly on the momentum of last year’s Carbon 25. Designed with racing in mind, this latest limited-edition model leans into a bold color identity that mirrors the livery of the VCARB 03 car, giving the watch an unmistakably track-ready personality while keeping the core Black Bay Chrono DNA intact.
At first glance, the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 stays true to what made its predecessor so appealing. You still get a lightweight 42 mm carbon fiber case paired with a fixed tachymeter bezel, a combination that’s perfectly suited for anyone drawn to the classic look and purpose of a racing chronograph. The carbon construction not only adds modern flair, but also reinforces the performance-driven theme that defines this release.
The dial continues that racing narrative in a big way. Tudor sticks with a matte racing white base and brings in vivid yellow-and-white accents inspired by the VCARB 03 color scheme. Familiar Black Bay Chrono details remain, including luminous hour, minute, and second hands for easy legibility. The chronograph layout features checkered flag-style subdials at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, adding a subtle nod to motorsport heritage without overdoing it. A date window sits neatly at 6 o’clock, keeping the design balanced and practical for daily wear.
Inside, the watch runs on Tudor’s MT5813 automatic chronograph movement, featuring a column wheel and a silicon balance spring. It operates at 4 Hz and delivers around 70 hours of power reserve, making it a strong performer whether it’s worn every day or rotated with other watches. Despite the lightweight carbon build, durability isn’t compromised either, as the Carbon 26 offers 200 meters (660 feet) of water resistance—matching the capability found in the standard stainless steel version.
Exclusivity is part of the appeal here. Just like the Carbon 25, the Tudor Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 is produced in a strictly limited run of 2026 units. Pricing is set at $8,625, and it’s available now through Tudor’s official sales channels. For collectors and racing enthusiasts alike, it’s a striking blend of modern materials, proven mechanics, and a design that clearly takes its cues from the world of high-performance motorsport.
