Tesla Offers Unique Incentive Program – Free FSD and Lifetime Charging

Tesla is currently running a groundbreaking promotion aimed at both retaining current customers and attracting new ones. For new orders placed between February 4 and March 31, Tesla is allowing buyers to transfer their existing Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta feature and lifetime Supercharging from their previous Tesla to their new purchase. This offer applies to any new Tesla, including the latest Model 3 Highland.

The incentive comes amid a strategic move to bolster sales, especially as there has been a hint of a forthcoming slowdown from Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk. Leveraging this promotion, along with additional federal and state tax credits, means significant savings for consumers. Specifically, the combined incentives can potentially reduce the price of a standard Model Y to below $30,000.

With the current federal and inventory incentives, a new Tesla Model Y Long Range can be purchased for a starting price of roughly $37,490. The buyer then has the ability to transfer over their pre-owned vehicle’s free lifetime Supercharging and Full Self-Driving capabilities, providing a comprehensive package that enhances the value of the new purchase substantially.

Guidelines for Transferring Free FSD:
Those interested in this unique offer should be aware of the following terms and conditions:

– The owner must be the legal and registered owner of a Tesla vehicle with the Full Self-Driving Capability at the time of delivery for the new Tesla and at least 48 hours afterward.
– Forfeiture of FSD on the current Tesla is required, either by trading in the vehicle to Tesla or by accepting the removal of the FSD Capability within 48 hours following the delivery of the new Tesla.
– The FSD Capability will be activated on the new vehicle up to one week after delivery. It is important to note that during this period, the vehicle may be without FSD.
– Once forfeited, restoration of FSD Capability on the original vehicle is irreversible, even if the new purchase is canceled or the car is totaled.
– The offer is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and is singular to the individual and vehicle.
– This transfer program excludes used vehicles, those used for commercial purposes, and third-party operational lease agreements.
– The program is available to Tesla owners in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with the free Supercharging for life offer only applicable to U.S. buyers.
– As a bonus, all Tesla Model Y versions in the U.S. qualify for an immediate $7,500 tax credit at the time of purchase.

This promotion positions the Tesla Model Y competitively against the new Model 3 Highland, with the added benefits of both tax incentives and the unique offer providing strong motivation for both new and repeat Tesla customers to consider an upgrade or first-time purchase.
