SwitchBot Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro Debuts With 70-Hour Battery Life, Matter Support, and Built-In Night Light
SwitchBot has introduced the Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro, a new portable smart fan designed for people who want flexible cooling, better air circulation, and smart home control in one compact device. As the latest model in the company’s Circulator Fan lineup, it brings several upgrades over the previous version, including longer battery life, improved airflow, Matter compatibility, and a soft integrated night light.
The biggest highlight is its built-in battery, which allows the fan to keep running even when it is not plugged into a wall outlet. This makes it useful during power outages, outdoor use, or simply moving it between rooms without worrying about cables. According to SwitchBot, the fan can run for up to 70 hours on a single charge, though battery life will vary depending on the speed setting and features in use.
The Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro is not just intended to cool one spot. It can also help distribute air from an air conditioner more efficiently around a room or spread mist from a humidifier. This makes it a practical option for bedrooms, living rooms, home offices, and other indoor spaces where better air movement can improve comfort.
SwitchBot says the new model offers a coverage distance of up to 110 feet and a maximum air volume of 477 CFM. Compared with the previous generation, that represents a 41% increase in coverage and a 48% improvement in air volume. Despite the stronger performance, the fan uses a DC motor rated at 24W and is designed to operate quietly, with noise levels as low as 21dB. That makes it suitable for nighttime use, especially for light sleepers.
Another useful addition is the built-in soft light, allowing the fan to double as a bedside lamp. This small feature could make it more convenient for bedrooms, nurseries, or any space where users want gentle lighting without turning on a brighter room light.
The fan also includes a built-in filter and aroma cartridge, allowing it to blow cleaner, lightly scented air. For users who care about easy maintenance, SwitchBot has designed several parts to be removable and washable, including the covers, filter, and fan blades. This should make regular cleaning much simpler over time.
Controls are available in multiple ways. The fan has capacitive buttons directly on the device and comes with a remote control. It also supports Matter, which means it can connect with compatible smart home platforms without requiring a separate SwitchBot Hub. Once connected, users can control the fan through voice commands or a smart home app, including changing fan modes and adjusting oscillation settings.
Charging options are also flexible. The Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro can be powered with an AC plug or charged through USB-C. A full charge is said to take around 10 hours when using the AC plug.
