The tip comes from a source known as Ricciolo, who despite not being a giant in the phone-leaking community, has a track record of providing credible tidbits about various phones, including those from the Xperia lineup. Even though Ricciolo, who counts just over 1,700 followers on X, hinted at forthcoming “Xperia news” in early January and then went silent, this could indicate ongoing developments or adjustments in the Xperia 1 VII production.
While such confirmation provides a glimmer of hope for Xperia enthusiasts, it remains wise to approach these Xperia 1 VII rumors cautiously. Recently surfaced “leaks” purportedly reveal design sketches of the Xperia 1’s seventh iteration, featuring an unusual camera arrangement. However, these illustrations were initially posted back in July 2024 by an obscure source on a lesser-known social platform, which at present has little activity and a mere handful of followers.
