Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for September 2026, giving subscribers four new titles to add to their libraries. The September selection will be available starting September 1 and can be claimed until October 5 by members on the Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers.
While most of the lineup surfaced ahead of the announcement, Sony has now confirmed the full list, including one additional game that was not part of the earlier leak. This month’s PlayStation Plus offering covers a wide range of genres, from tactical World War II action and baseball simulation to open-world sandbox fun and classic JRPG adventure.
The biggest action title in the September 2026 PS Plus lineup is Sniper Elite: Resistance, available for both PS5 and PS4. Set in occupied France during World War II, the game runs alongside the events of Sniper Elite 5 and delivers the series’ signature mix of stealth, strategy, and precision shooting. Players can take on the campaign solo or in co-op, plan long-range takedowns, and approach missions with tactical freedom. The game also includes Axis Invasion, where players can enter another person’s campaign as an enemy sniper, along with competitive multiplayer battles for up to 16 players.
Baseball fans will be able to step up to the plate with MLB The Show 26 on PS5. The latest entry in the popular sports franchise lets players shape their own baseball journey through Road To The Show, now featuring a path that includes the MLB Draft Combine and more college teams. Diamond Dynasty also returns, allowing players to build a dream squad using baseball icons from different generations. With career-building options, team customization, and realistic gameplay, MLB The Show 26 is one of the standout sports additions for PlayStation Plus subscribers in September.
For players looking for something lighthearted and chaotic, Wobbly Life arrives on PS5 and PS4. This colorful open-world sandbox game can be enjoyed solo or with up to three friends through online or split-screen co-op. Players are dropped onto a lively island packed with jobs, mini-games, puzzles, secrets, toys, and story missions. From exploring caves and mountains to taking part in silly challenges, Wobbly Life offers a relaxed and family-friendly experience. Arcade mode adds even more variety with activities such as Hide & Seek, Trash Zone, Wobble Run, and Sandbox.
Rounding out the September PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup is Chained Echoes for PS4. This story-focused JRPG takes inspiration from classic 16-bit role-playing games while offering a modern adventure filled with exploration, turn-based battles, and a sweeping fantasy narrative. The story follows a group of heroes attempting to bring peace to Valandis, a continent torn apart by war between three kingdoms. Players will travel across plateaus, islands, sunken cities, and dangerous dungeons while fighting with swords, magic, and powerful mechanical suits.

The departing titles include Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk, and Signalis.
