Exciting developments are on the horizon for OnePlus enthusiasts as the company teases the design of its forthcoming flagship Android smartphone lineup. Among the much-anticipated announcements, the OnePlus 13R is stirring up interest with a fresh leak that showcases potential final aesthetics, suggesting that this model may arrive in three distinct color options, possibly including a ceramic finish.
In a strategic move, OnePlus China might diverge from its usual routine by simultaneously unveiling successors to the Ace 3 and Ace 3 Pro. This event, rumored to be just around the corner, is expected to finally establish that both models are derivatives of the brand’s latest Android flagship. Leaked promotional materials circulating on Weibo suggest the Ace 5 and 5 Pro share striking similarities with their Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered sibling.
The design reveals that all three devices will be available in black and white, aligning with the 13’s confirmed color choices—Black Eclipse and Arctic Dawn. Adding to the allure is a “luxurious micro-fiber” Midnight Ocean vegan leather, available during the global Winter Launch Event. Interestingly, the Ace 5 may also feature a green variant, appearing lighter than in previous leaks, and the 5 Pro might introduce a unique purple option to the series.
While the Ace 5 is rumored to go global as the successor to the 12R, it’s anticipated to adopt the same color palette: black, white, and green. Notably, the green variant is speculated to sport a ceramic finish, a departure from glass, which is expected in the white version of the 5 Pro.
Though these smartphones will not showcase the Hasselblad logo on their camera modules, they stand out with sleek, flat-edged frames that might conceal substantial battery power. This design choice highlights OnePlus’s commitment to aesthetics and functionality, setting the stage for an impressive launch that tech aficionados won’t want to miss.
