The battery efficiency of the Snapdragon 8 Elite shines through in rigorous testing. In Dave2D’s PCMark Battery Test, both the OnePlus 13 and the ROG Phone 9 Pro significantly outlasted their predecessors equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The OnePlus 13, housing a 6,000 mAh battery, outlasted its predecessor by over five hours, clocking in at 17 hours and 25 minutes. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 9 Pro with its marginally larger battery impressively added over three hours to its predecessor’s battery life.
To put these figures into context, the OnePlus 13 offers a remarkable 43% increase in battery life with an 11.11% larger battery capacity. The ROG Phone 9 Pro, similarly, shows a 30% improvement with just a 5.4% increase in battery size.

During the demanding Genshin Impact test, the OnePlus 13 and the ROG Phone 9 Pro played considerably longer than models powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
