Scott Sweep 20 arrives as a stylish Bosch-powered e-bike for everyday city rides
Scott has expanded its urban e-bike lineup with the new Sweep 20, a practical electric bike designed for riders who want a clean-looking commuter with reliable components and everyday usability. Positioned as an Electric Urban Bike, the Sweep 20 is built primarily for city streets, bike lanes, and daily errands, but it also has enough versatility for relaxed rides on paved paths and light gravel routes.
The Scott Sweep 20 is available in two frame styles: a traditional diamond frame and a low-step version for easier mounting and dismounting. That makes it appealing to a wider range of riders, including commuters who frequently stop in traffic or anyone who prefers a more accessible frame design.
One of the biggest highlights is its Bosch-powered setup. Instead of using a mid-drive motor, Scott equips the Sweep 20 with Bosch’s newer rear-hub motor system. The motor delivers up to 45 Nm of torque, which should be well suited for urban riding, moderate climbs, and stop-and-go commuting.
