A highly unusual GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card has surfaced for buyers outside China, and it stands out for one big reason: it does not need an external power connector. The SRhonyra RTX 3060 Low Profile is designed to run entirely from the PCIe x16 slot, making it one of the most compact and power-conscious RTX 3060 cards available.
Unlike standard RTX 3060 graphics cards, which typically require an 8-pin power connector and can draw around 170W under full load, this model is heavily power-limited. That design choice allows it to operate without extra PCIe power cables, but it also comes with a major trade-off in performance.
