Shuttle XPC Slim DH810S Mini PC Debuts With Intel Core Ultra 200S Desktop Power in a 1.35-Liter Chassis
Shuttle has expanded its compact PC lineup with the XPC Slim DH810S, a new mini PC designed for industrial, commercial, and space-constrained computing environments. Despite its extremely small footprint, the DH810S is built around Intel’s desktop-class Core Ultra 200S “Arrow Lake-S” processors, giving it considerably more performance potential than many typical small-form-factor systems.
The new Shuttle XPC Slim DH810S follows the earlier DH810 model but arrives with a revised port layout. It keeps the same core platform strengths, including support for Intel LGA 1851 processors, up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory, active cooling, and flexible storage options. The main difference comes down to connectivity, where Shuttle has adjusted the I/O configuration to better suit different deployment needs.
At the heart of the DH810S is support for 65-watt Intel Core Ultra 200S desktop processors. These chips bring Intel’s Arrow Lake-S architecture into a compact mini PC format, offering strong multi-core performance for workloads such as digital signage, automation control, edge computing, office productivity, light content creation, and embedded applications.
The system can be configured with processors offering up to 24 cores, making it a powerful option for users who need desktop-level performance without a full-size tower. Shuttle’s decision to use 65-watt CPUs is practical, especially given the mini PC’s compact 1.35-liter chassis. Lower-power desktop chips help balance performance, heat output, and reliability in environments where the system may need to run continuously.
Memory support is another highlight. The Shuttle DH810S includes two DDR5 SODIMM slots and can handle up to 96 GB of RAM using two 48 GB modules. That makes it suitable for more demanding multitasking and professional workloads, especially in business or industrial settings where reliability and expandability matter.
The DH810S has a different I/O arrangement compared to the standard DH810. Its port selection includes USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, dual DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, one HDMI 2.1 port, 1G Ethernet, and an RS-232 COM port.
This setup gives the mini PC strong display flexibility, with support for multiple monitor connections through two DisplayPort outputs and one HDMI port. That could make the DH810S useful for control rooms, retail displays, kiosks, monitoring systems, and office setups that require more than one screen.
However, the DH810S does reduce some connectivity compared to its higher-end sibling. It comes with fewer serial and networking ports, and the USB4 port found on the other model is no longer present. In exchange, users get an additional DisplayPort output, which may be more valuable for certain industrial and commercial use cases.
Cooling is often a concern with high-performance mini PCs, but Shuttle has equipped the DH810S with dual 70 mm fans for active thermal management. This is especially important because the system is designed to run desktop-class Intel processors inside a compact enclosure. The dual-fan design should help maintain stable performance during extended operation.
Storage options are also practical for a mini PC of this size. The DH810S includes a 2.5-inch drive bay that can accommodate either an SSD or HDD, giving users a straightforward option for affordable high-capacity storage. It also includes an M.2 2280 slot with PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 support for fast NVMe SSDs.
For wireless connectivity, the system provides an M.2 2230 slot that can be used for WiFi and Bluetooth modules. Shuttle also allows 4G connectivity, but using that option requires occupying the 2.5-inch bay. In that configuration, users would rely on the M.2 2280 slot as the primary storage option.
The Shuttle XPC Slim DH810S is clearly aimed at professional and industrial environments rather than mainstream home users. Its compact size, desktop-class processor support, serial connectivity, multi-display output, and flexible storage make it well suited for embedded systems, factory automation, point-of-sale deployments, digital signage, medical equipment, and business workstations.
Pricing has not been publicly announced, which is common for industrial-focused mini PCs. Businesses and system integrators interested in the DH810S will likely need to contact Shuttle directly for availability, configuration options, and quotes.
Overall, the Shuttle XPC Slim DH810S stands out as a compact yet capable mini PC that brings Intel Core Ultra 200S desktop performance to a chassis small enough for tight workspaces and specialized installations. With up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe storage, dual-fan cooling, and multi-display support, it offers a strong mix of power, expandability, and compact design for professional users.
