Smart home users in the United States can now pick up the Shelly BLU H&T Display ZB, a compact environmental sensor that previously launched in Europe in 2025. Built for everyday home monitoring, it tracks key room conditions and presents them on an easy-to-read screen—helping you stay on top of comfort, air quality factors, and potential energy waste.
Shelly says the BLU H&T Display ZB is the world’s slimmest display sensor in its category, and its e-paper graphic display is designed to be glanceable rather than distracting. On-screen, you can view the current temperature, humidity, and light level, along with the time. That combination can be genuinely useful in daily routines: spotting a room that’s running too warm (and potentially driving up heating or cooling costs), or catching humidity levels that could contribute to mold risk.
To match different rooms and lighting situations, the display offers two viewing styles: a standard mode with a white background and an inverse mode with a black background.
A big part of the appeal is flexibility. The Shelly BLU H&T Display ZB supports both Bluetooth 5.0 and Zigbee 3.0, making it easier to fit into a wider range of smart home setups. With the right compatible devices, the sensor’s readings can be used to trigger smarter automation—such as adjusting a smart thermostat based on room conditions or turning on a dehumidifier when humidity rises.
For control and monitoring, the device works with the Shelly Smart Control app, enabling remote management. It also supports popular voice and smart home platforms, including Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings.
Installation is simple and adaptable. The sensor runs on battery power and can be wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop or shelf using the included stand. It’s also notably compact, measuring 65 x 65 x 9 mm (about 2.56 x 2.56 x 0.35 inches), which helps it blend into most spaces without looking bulky.
Pricing and availability: the Shelly BLU H&T Display ZB is now being sold in the US through Shelly’s online store for $24.99. It comes in black or white. Stock appears to be limited right now, with only 300 units currently available, and there’s no confirmed timeline for the next restock.
