Seiko Expands Presage Cocktail Time GMT Line With Daiquiri and Corcovado Models
Seiko is adding two new automatic GMT watches to its popular Presage Cocktail Time collection, bringing fresh colors and travel-ready functionality to one of the brand’s most recognizable dress-watch lines. The new references, HCB004J Daiquiri and HCB005J Corcovado, are scheduled for release in Japan in October 2026, with pricing set at 92,400 yen including tax, or 84,000 yen before tax.
The latest additions belong to Seiko’s “Cocktail Time Around the World” GMT series, a sub-collection inspired by famous drinks and destinations across the globe. As with previous Cocktail Time models, the focus is on elegant dial work, polished styling, and accessible mechanical watchmaking.
The HCB004J Daiquiri takes inspiration from the classic Cuban cocktail. It features a bright white dial with a stamped radial pattern that plays with light in the signature Cocktail Time style. The watch is paired with a gold-colored stainless steel case and matching bracelet, giving it a warmer, more formal look.
The HCB005J Corcovado draws its name from the iconic Rio de Janeiro landmark. This version uses a deep blue dial matched with a pink gold-colored stainless steel case and a brown cowhide leather strap. The result is a dressier, more relaxed configuration that leans into the collection’s evening-ready character.
Although both watches use gold-tone finishes, Seiko lists the case material as stainless steel for each model. That means the gold and pink-gold appearances come from surface finishing rather than solid precious metal construction.
Inside both watches is Seiko’s caliber 4R34, an automatic GMT movement with manual winding capability. It has 24 jewels, a power reserve of approximately 41 hours, and an accuracy rating of +45 to -35 seconds per day. The GMT hand is a caller-style 24-hour hand, allowing the wearer to adjust it in one-hour increments, which is useful for tracking a second time zone.
The case dimensions remain consistent with the existing Presage Cocktail Time GMT formula. Each model measures 40.5 mm in diameter, 12.8 mm thick, and 47.5 mm lug to lug. Both are fitted with a box-shaped Hardlex crystal, a see-through screw case back, and offer 5 bar water resistance.
The bracelet version, HCB004J Daiquiri, comes with a one-push butterfly clasp and fits wrists up to 215 mm. It weighs 137 g. The leather-strap HCB005J Corcovado uses a one-push three-fold clasp, fits wrists up to 195 mm, and weighs a lighter 73 g.
International pricing has not yet been announced. Based on the Japanese pre-tax price of 84,000 yen, the converted cost is around $547, while the tax-included Japanese retail price is roughly $603. For comparison, earlier Presage Cocktail Time GMT models in the same family have been positioned in a similar entry-level mechanical GMT price range.
With the new Daiquiri and Corcovado references, Seiko continues to build out the Presage Cocktail Time GMT series as an appealing choice for buyers who want a stylish automatic watch with practical dual-time functionality. The combination of textured dials, warm case finishes, and the 4R34 movement should make both models attractive to collectors looking for an affordable GMT with a dress-watch personality.
