Sanwa’s Cable-Ready Power Bank Solves Charging Hassles and Safety Worries

Sanwa Supply Unveils a 10,000mAh Power Bank With a Built-In Retractable USB-C Cable

For anyone who has ever packed a power bank but forgotten the charging cable, Sanwa Supply’s latest portable charger offers a simple but clever fix. The new Sanwa 700-BTL064BK is a 10,000mAh power bank with a retractable USB-C cable built directly into the body, making it easier to charge devices on the go without carrying extra accessories.

The integrated USB-C cable extends to around 70cm and neatly retracts back into the power bank when not in use. That means fewer tangled cables in your bag and one less thing to remember before leaving home. The cable also supports two-way charging, so it can be used both to charge a smartphone or tablet and to recharge the power bank itself.

Beyond the convenience of the built-in cable, Sanwa is also highlighting battery safety. The 700-BTL064BK uses a semi-solid lithium-ion battery instead of a traditional liquid-electrolyte battery. According to the company, this design is intended to reduce the risk of overheating and battery swelling, two common concerns with portable chargers.

The power bank also includes several safety protections, including temperature monitoring, overcurrent protection, overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, and short-circuit protection. While these are manufacturer-stated advantages rather than independently tested claims, they add to the appeal for users who prioritize safety in everyday charging accessories.

In terms of performance, the Sanwa 700-BTL064BK supports up to 30W USB Power Delivery charging with PPS support. That should make it suitable for fast-charging many modern smartphones, wireless earbuds, handheld devices, and some smaller tablets. A separate USB-C port is also included, allowing two devices to be charged at the same time. However, the maximum output is reduced when both the built-in cable and the extra USB-C port are used simultaneously.

The power bank includes a digital display that shows the remaining battery level in 1% increments, offering a more precise reading than the usual four-dot indicator found on many portable chargers. This is especially useful while traveling, as users can quickly check whether they need to recharge before heading out.

Despite its 10,000mAh capacity, the device remains fairly compact. It measures approximately 137 × 74 × 15mm and weighs about 225g, making it slim enough for a backpack, handbag, or travel pouch. Its 37Wh capacity is also well below the commonly used 100Wh limit for airline carry-on batteries, though travelers should always check the specific rules of their airline before flying.

Sanwa Supply has priced the 700-BTL064BK at ¥6,980, which is roughly $45. Availability is currently focused on Japan through major online retailers.

The Sanwa 700-BTL064BK may not solve every charging problem, but its built-in retractable USB-C cable tackles one of the most common frustrations with portable chargers. For commuters, travelers, students, and anyone who regularly charges devices away from home, this compact 10,000mAh power bank could be a practical everyday carry option.
