Xiaomi Launches 10,000mAh Power Bank With Retractable USB-C Cable and 55W Fast Charging
Xiaomi has introduced a new 10,000mAh power bank in China, designed for users who want fast charging, better safety, and a more convenient cable-free experience. The new Xiaomi Power Bank Retractable Cable 10000 55W combines a built-in USB-C cable, multiple charging ports, a compact design, and enhanced battery protection features.
One of the biggest highlights is its 70 cm retractable USB-C cable. Instead of carrying an extra charging cable in your bag, you can simply pull out the built-in cable when needed and tuck it away neatly after use. This makes the power bank a practical option for travel, commuting, work, and everyday charging.
The power bank supports up to 55W fast charging through the built-in USB-C cable or the separate USB-C port when charging a single device. Xiaomi claims it can charge an iPhone 17 Pro from 0% to 64% in around 30 minutes, making it useful for quick top-ups when time is limited.
For users with multiple devices, the power bank includes three charging options: the retractable USB-C cable, an additional USB-C port, and a USB-A port. This allows it to charge up to three devices at the same time, such as a smartphone, earbuds, smartwatch, or tablet. The USB-A port supports up to 22.5W output, which is suitable for smaller accessories and older devices.
Xiaomi has also added a small display to the power bank. The screen shows useful information such as remaining battery capacity, temperature, battery health, and real-time charging output. This gives users a clearer view of how the power bank is performing instead of relying on basic LED indicators.
Safety is another key focus of this new model. Xiaomi says the power bank meets China’s latest GB 47372-2026 safety standard, which includes stricter battery testing. These tests involve conditions such as high-temperature exposure and needle penetration, designed to reduce the risk of battery fires and explosions. With growing concerns around portable battery safety, this upgrade could make the device more appealing to cautious buyers.
In terms of size, the Xiaomi Power Bank Retractable Cable 10000 55W measures 90 x 50 x 41 mm and weighs around 260 g. It is not the lightest 10,000mAh power bank available, but its built-in retractable cable and three-port charging setup add extra convenience. The compact shape should still make it easy to carry in a backpack, handbag, or travel pouch.
The power bank is available in three color options: black, gold, and purple. It is currently priced at 299 yuan in China, which is approximately $45.
