Samsung Unveils Galaxy Book5 Pro 360: Cutting-Edge Intel Lunar Lake, Arc Graphics 140V, 76 Wh Battery, and Stunning 16-Inch AMOLED Display

Samsung has officially launched the pioneering model of its Galaxy Book5 lineup. Unveiled earlier this week, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 caught many eyes after several leaks had already hinted at its specs and features. Contrary to widespread speculation, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 doesn’t house a Core Ultra 5 226V processor. Instead, Samsung has upgraded it with the more robust Core Ultra 7 Processor 256V, offering enhanced CPU boost clock speeds and a more powerful integrated GPU (iGPU). The iGPU, Arc Graphics 140V, is particularly notable for boasting 8 GB of VRAM.

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is packed with impressive features, including LPDDR5X RAM and a 76 Wh battery. The device sports a stunning 16-inch AMOLED display with these standout specs:
– A native resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels (WQXGA+)
– A 16:10 aspect ratio
– A 120 Hz refresh rate with variable refresh rate (VRR) support
– 10-point multi-touch capabilities
– Peak brightness levels of 400 nits in SDR and 500 nits in HDR

Connectivity options are top-notch with Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7, satisfying those looking for fast and stable wireless connections. The device also includes S Pen support, and Samsung generously provides a compatible stylus in the box. Users will appreciate the advanced trackpad, which offers a noticeable improvement over its predecessor. Port selection includes:
– One 3.5 mm headphone jack
– One HDMI 2.1 port (supporting 8K/60 Hz or 5K/120 Hz outputs)
– One MicroSD card slot
– Two Thunderbolt 4 ports
– One USB 3.2 Type-A port

Currently, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is available only in the US, purchasable through Best Buy or Samsung’s official channels. Although the list of retailers is limited now, Samsung hints that the laptop will be more widely available starting September 2024. As of now, Samsung offers a single configuration priced at $1,699.99, which includes the Core Ultra 7 Processor 256V, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB storage. Future configurations will expand to include up to 32 GB of RAM and storage options as low as 512 GB.

Samsung’s latest laptop represents a significant leap forward in both power and versatility, ready to meet the demands of both professionals and tech enthusiasts.
