Samsung has introduced its first magnetic power bank, and it’s built specifically for people who want a cleaner, more convenient way to charge on the move. Revealed alongside the Galaxy S26 lineup at Galaxy Unpacked, the new Samsung Qi2 Magnet Wireless Battery Pack brings Qi2-certified magnetic wireless charging, a slim 5,000 mAh battery, and a built-in kickstand designed to make everyday use a lot more practical.
The big headline is Qi2 magnetic support. This battery pack can snap onto the back of compatible Galaxy phones when you’re using a magnetic case, helping keep the power bank aligned while it charges—no slipping around in a pocket or bag. Samsung says it delivers up to 15W of wireless charging for the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S25 series, offering a solid speed boost for a magnetic accessory that’s meant to be as simple as “attach and go.”
If you need faster charging than wireless can offer, Samsung also includes a USB-C port that supports up to 25W charging. That same USB-C port works for both input and output, so you can recharge the power bank itself and also charge other devices from it. Even better, the pack can charge two devices at the same time, letting you top up your phone wirelessly while using the cable for something else.
Despite the convenience features, Samsung is keeping the design compact by using a 5,000 mAh capacity. It’s not the largest power bank you can buy, but that smaller size is what helps it stay slim and easy to carry—more like an everyday accessory than a brick you only bring on long trips.
One of the most useful additions is the foldable kickstand built into the power bank. You can prop your phone up in landscape for watching videos or in portrait for video calls while it continues charging, which makes the accessory feel more like a daily desk and travel companion than a simple battery extender.
Samsung also appears to have designed the shape with its latest phones in mind. A cutout near the top helps accommodate the camera bar styling found on the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S25 models, improving fit across the range—from the smaller versions to the Ultra.
For now, the Samsung Qi2 Magnet Wireless Battery Pack is listed in grey and has appeared on Samsung’s UK site, though Samsung has not yet shared official pricing or full availability details.
