Samsung has significantly expanded their presence in India with the opening of a second Premium Experience Store situated in Bengaluru’s Mall of Asia. This move builds upon the success of their first and flagship store in the country, the illustrious Samsung Opera House, which first opened its doors in 2018.
The new establishment occupies a spacious 1,200 square-foot area and boasts an array of enticing sections designed to enhance the customer experience. Visitors can explore the SmartThings station, delve into games at the Gaming zone, or experience the latest in audio-visual technology. Not to be left out, there’s also a dedicated section for smartphones and wearables.
Samsung plans to present a variety of interactive programs at this location, including the ‘Learn@Samsung’ initiative. This program is tailored towards tech-enthusiasts, with a particular focus on engaging the Gen Z and millennial demographics. It’s set to offer workshops that encompass topics such as AI education, aligning with the interests and passions of its target audience.
To commemorate the launch of this new store, Samsung has announced a series of inaugural offers. Shoppers can receive guaranteed gifts, double the loyalty points on purchases exceeding INR 15,000, and have the opportunity to acquire Galaxy Buds FE at a special price of INR 2,999 when they buy select Galaxy devices, for a limited time. Moreover, the first 200 customers making a purchase worth INR 20,000 or more will be rewarded with exclusive early bird giveaways.
Further incentives include a substantial 10% student discount on an array of products such as smartphones, laptops, and smartwatches, alongside potential cashback of up to 22.5% and up to INR 22,000 in additional benefits on select items.
Sumit Walia, the Vice President of Samsung India’s Direct to Consumer (D2C) Business, shared his excitement for the store’s opening. “Following six years of a fantastic response to our flagship experience center, the Samsung Opera House, we are thrilled to offer another Premium Experience Store at Mall of Asia, Bengaluru. We are committed to providing local shoppers with immersive premium product experiences,” stated Walia.
Walia further expressed that the newest store aims to engage the diverse customer base in Bengaluru with creatively designed ‘Learn @ Samsung’ workshops. These sessions will cover various topics including productivity, photography techniques such as portrait and nightography, and photo editing to cater to different consumer interests. He emphasizes that Bengaluru’s dynamic retail atmosphere is an ideal setting for establishing meaningful connections with consumers and fostering engaging experiences.
