Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Camera Sensor Specs Revealed in Latest Leak

Samsung enthusiasts, brace yourselves for the anticipated unveiling of the Galaxy S25 series, slated for January 22. While official announcements are yet to drop from the company itself, the tech grapevine is abuzz with intriguing leaks about these flagship phones. The latest whispers focus on the camera specs of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and they offer some enticing details.

A well-regarded leaker, known as @AssembleDebug, claims to have uncovered core files of the much-awaited smartphone, delving into its key features, particularly its camera sensors. These findings suggest that while the S25 Ultra will continue to boast impressive photography capabilities, it may not deviate significantly from its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The primary camera of the S25 Ultra is expected to feature the familiar 200 MP Isocell HP2 sensor. The 3x telephoto lens is anticipated to uphold continuity with a 12 MP Sony IMX 754 sensor. Moving to the 5x telephoto, expectations rest on a 50 MP IMX 854 sensor, while the front-facing camera could maintain the 12 MP Isocell S5K3LU sensor, consistent with the previous model.

However, the real twist comes with the ultrawide lens. According to the leak, the S25 Ultra is set to upgrade to the Isocell S5KJN3 sensor, believed to be the GN3. This represents a jump to a 50 MP sensor with a substantial 1/1.57-inch optical size, a notable enhancement from the earlier 12 MP setup with a 1/2.52-inch sensor on the S24 Ultra.

There’s also buzz about the possible introduction of Samsung’s groundbreaking ALoP camera technology in the Galaxy S25 series. However, it’s unclear if the S25 Ultra will feature this innovation or if it might debut in a rumored variant, the Galaxy S25 Slim.

As anticipation builds, fans and tech aficionados eagerly await more official news to confirm these exciting developments in Samsung’s next heavyweight smartphone contender.
