Revolutionary Mini PC Unveiled: TOPC Launches First AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 Model at $362

The TR9 AI Mini PC is shaking up the market by being the first to feature the Pro Strix Point chip, introducing a unique Zen 5-Zen 5c setup. This innovative move comes from Chinese hardware maker TOPC, as they’re the pioneers in embedding the budget-friendly Ryzen AI PRO 360 into their new TR9 AI Mini PCs.

Starting at around $320, the TR9 AI Mini PC with the Ryzen AI 7 350 processor is a noteworthy choice. It boasts an 8-core/16-thread design, designed for budget-conscious users, and runs at impressive speeds, achieving up to 5 GHz with its Zen 5 cores. It’s powered by Radeon 860M graphics, which includes 8 cores and a 3000 MHz clock speed. The standout feature is its dedicated NPU, delivering 50 TOPS of AI performance.

For just a bit more at $362, you can opt for the TR9 AI Mini PC with the Ryzen AI PRO 360. This version offers a distinct core setup of 3x Zen 5 and 5x Zen 5c cores—highlighting efficiency and powerful handling of background tasks. Thanks to the more power-efficient Zen 5c cores, crafted on a refined 3nm process, the PRO 360 is perfect for professionals seeking cost-effective options. The upgraded Radeon 880M graphics also make it a solid choice for demanding graphical tasks, offering an enhanced gaming and productivity experience.

Other versions include the more mainstream Strix Point chips like Ryzen AI 9 365 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, boasting 10-core and 12-core configurations respectively. These are targeted at those needing top-tier performance and range from around $529 to $585. The more affordable models, like those with Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI PRO 360, still remain appealing, although details on RAM and storage are yet to be revealed.

Since AMD’s launch of the Strix Point APUs last year, there’s been a gradual adoption by hardware manufacturers. The landscape is now rich with options including both the costly Strix Halo chips and more budget-friendly solutions like the Krackan Point, giving consumers plenty of choice to meet their needs.
