Redmi Turbo 6 Max leak points to a massive 11,000mAh battery and 2K 185Hz display
Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Turbo 6 Max could be one of the most exciting performance phones of the year if the latest leak turns out to be accurate. A new report from well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the device may feature an enormous 11,000mAh battery, potentially making it the largest battery ever used in a Xiaomi smartphone.
The leaked battery is said to be rated at 40.72Wh. That would be a major upgrade over the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which launched with a 9,000mAh battery. If the new figure is correct, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max would offer around 22% more capacity than its predecessor, giving it a serious advantage for users who want longer gaming sessions, extended video streaming, and better all-day endurance.
Although the latest post does not directly name the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, the details strongly match earlier rumors about the device. The tipster describes a Dimensity-powered performance phone with a large 7-inch 2K display and an ultra-high refresh rate, which lines up with previous leaks surrounding Xiaomi’s next Turbo Max model.
The Redmi Turbo 6 Max is also rumored to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset. This 3nm processor is expected to deliver flagship-level performance, making the phone especially appealing to mobile gamers and power users. The chip is said to include one Cortex-X925 core running at up to 3.73GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores, four Cortex-A720 cores, and an Immortalis-G925 GPU for advanced graphics performance.
Display specifications could be another major highlight. Earlier leaks claim the Redmi Turbo 6 Max may come with a flat 2K screen measuring around 7 inches. The refresh rate is reportedly estimated at up to 185Hz, which would be unusually high for a smartphone and could make scrolling, gaming, and animations feel extremely smooth.
The display is also said to use LIPO packaging, allowing Xiaomi to reduce the bezels to around 1mm on all four sides. If accurate, this would give the Redmi Turbo 6 Max a very modern, nearly edge-to-edge appearance. The panel is also rumored to support the BT.2020 color gamut, which could mean richer colors and improved visual quality for videos and games.
For comparison, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max launched in China with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, 100W wired charging, a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. With the rumored battery, display, and chipset upgrades, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could be positioned as a major step forward in Xiaomi’s performance-focused Redmi lineup.
There is still no official confirmation from Xiaomi regarding the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, its specifications, or its launch date. Some earlier reports suggested a January debut in China, while newer rumors indicate the Turbo series could arrive before the end of 2026.
If the leaks are accurate, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could become one of the most powerful battery-focused smartphones on the market, combining an 11,000mAh cell, a high-resolution 2K display, an ultra-fast refresh rate, and a flagship-grade MediaTek chipset. For users who prioritize battery life, gaming performance, and large-screen entertainment, this could be one of Xiaomi’s most interesting releases yet.
