Recent insights from firmware bin files suggest some significant changes are in store for the global variants of the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+. Reports indicate that the global version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro may feature a 200 MP Samsung S5KHP3 as the primary camera. This is a shift from the Chinese version, which sports a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor. Meanwhile, the ultra-wide and macro sensors are expected to remain consistent across both regional variants.
For the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, the changes are even more intriguing. While the Chinese model comes equipped with a 50 MP OVX8000 primary sensor, the global version is rumored to adopt the same 200 MP Samsung S5KHP3 sensor as the Pro model. Additionally, the global Pro+ might see the removal of the optical telephoto sensor, opting instead for a 2 MP OV02B10 macro camera. This marks a downgrade from the Chinese model’s 50 MP Samsung JN1 sensor, which provides 2.5x optical zoom.
