RedMagic’s New Gaming Tablet Makes a Strong Showing on AnTuTu

The RedMagic Gaming Pad will be fully revealed on September 5. Featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, it has recently surfaced on the AnTuTu benchmarking tool, achieving impressive scores that surpass most current flagship smartphones.

RedMagic, having recently ventured into the gaming laptop market, is now gearing up to introduce its first gaming tablet. The official teaser indicates that the tablet will come in two different models. The higher-end variant has made an appearance on AnTuTu, revealing significant details.

The benchmark run indicates that the gaming tablet uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, an overclocked version of the standard SoC that debuted with the RedMagic 9S Pro. This new gaming tablet achieved an overall score of 2,205,110 points on AnTuTu, outperforming most flagship smartphones. Specifically, it garnered a CPU score of 466,697, a GPU score of 948,310, a UX score of 386,373, and a memory score of 403,730.

These high scores suggest that the gaming tablet likely includes an advanced cooling setup, as seen in the RedMagic 9S Pro with its active cooling fan. Additionally, the benchmarked device featured 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Based on the UX score, the tablet supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, and the company has confirmed an 840 Hz touch sampling rate for the display.
