RedMagic 11 Air Revealed in Official Photos, Confirming Its Sleek Design and Display Upgrades

RedMagic is getting ready to expand its gaming phone lineup with a new model designed to hit a sweet spot: strong performance at a more affordable price. The company has now confirmed that the RedMagic 11 Air will officially launch in China on January 20, 2026, and a fresh wave of teasers has revealed key design and display details ahead of the release.

Official images show the RedMagic 11 Air arriving in three colors: Stardust White, Quantum Black, and Aurora Silver. While all three share the same overall gaming-focused look, Aurora Silver stands out with orange accents that give it a more striking, high-energy finish.

Around the back, the phone is confirmed to feature a dual-camera setup. RedMagic is also keeping one of its signature gaming features: an active cooling fan, similar to what the brand has used on previous models. This built-in fan is designed to help manage heat during long gaming sessions, where sustained performance matters most.

On the front, RedMagic is leaning heavily into immersion. The 11 Air is shown with a hole-less display, enabled by an under-display selfie camera. According to the latest teaser, the screen will have ultra-slim 1.25 mm bezels, helping it deliver a more uninterrupted full-screen experience—an important selling point for both gaming and media.

Display specs teased so far include a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother motion, and 2,592Hz PWM dimming, which can help provide more comfortable brightness control, especially in low-light conditions.

Other teased highlights reinforce its gaming identity: RGB lighting on the back, a curved glass rear design, and capacitive shoulder buttons for more console-like control in supported games.

While RedMagic hasn’t officially confirmed the chipset yet, expectations point to the Snapdragon 8 Elite (a last-generation flagship processor). If that’s accurate, it would explain the “Air” positioning: flagship-class gaming performance but priced lower than the top-tier models in the series. Reports also suggest a large battery paired with 100W fast charging support, which could make the 11 Air appealing for players who want less downtime between sessions.

With the January 20, 2026 launch date approaching, more official specs are likely to drop soon—especially around performance, battery capacity, and pricing, which will ultimately determine how competitive the RedMagic 11 Air is in the fast-moving gaming smartphone market.
