RayNeo’s Next AR Smart Glasses Promise a Dolby Vision-Powered View

RayNeo GT Max AR Glasses Teased With Dolby Vision, Wider Field of View, and Lightweight Design

RayNeo is preparing to launch its next-generation AR smart glasses, and the upcoming RayNeo GT Max could be one of the brand’s most exciting releases yet. After introducing the RayNeo Air 4 Pro earlier in 2026 with Micro OLED displays and HDR10 certification, the company is now aiming for a bigger leap in visual quality, immersion, and wearable comfort.

The standout upgrade for the RayNeo GT Max is Dolby Vision certification. RayNeo says the GT Max will be the first AR glasses to support Dolby Vision, giving the device a major advantage over standard HDR10-based models. Dolby Vision uses dynamic metadata, allowing brightness, contrast, and color tuning to adjust more precisely from scene to scene. In practical terms, this could mean richer colors, deeper contrast, and a more cinematic viewing experience when watching supported movies, shows, and videos.

Another major improvement is the field of view. The RayNeo GT Max is confirmed to feature a 59-degree field of view, which is a noticeable jump from the 47-degree field of view found on the RayNeo Air 4 Pro. A wider field of view can make virtual screens feel larger and more natural, helping create a more immersive experience for entertainment, gaming, and productivity.

RayNeo has also confirmed that the GT Max will be powered by its Vision4000 and Zone360 chipsets. This hardware combination is expected to improve spatial performance, making the glasses better suited for AR-style viewing and enhanced screen positioning. While full technical details have not yet been revealed, the chipset pairing suggests that RayNeo is focusing not only on display quality but also on a smoother and more convincing spatial experience.

Audio is another area where the RayNeo GT Max appears to be getting premium treatment. Like the Air 4 Pro, the new model will feature sound enhancements from Bang & Olufsen. That should help the glasses deliver a more refined audio experience for movies, games, and streaming content without requiring separate headphones.

Despite the upgraded display technology and wider viewing experience, the RayNeo GT Max is still designed to be lightweight. RayNeo says the glasses will weigh just 78 grams, which should make them comfortable enough for longer viewing sessions. Weight is an important factor for AR glasses, especially for users who want to watch full-length films, play games, or use a virtual display for work.

RayNeo has not yet announced the official price of the GT Max. However, the company has confirmed that the launch is scheduled for May 27, 2026, in China. With Dolby Vision support, a 59-degree field of view, Bang & Olufsen-enhanced audio, and a lightweight frame, the RayNeo GT Max is shaping up to be a serious contender in the growing AR smart glasses market.
