Qualcomm is stepping up its automotive strategy with a larger partnership involving Bosch, signaling a stronger push into the technologies shaping the next generation of connected and smarter vehicles.
The companies have been working together in automotive electronics for some time, with their earlier collaboration centered on in-vehicle cockpit systems. That focus typically covers the digital experiences drivers and passengers interact with every day, such as infotainment, instrument clusters, navigation, voice features, and other connected services inside the cabin.
Now, Qualcomm says the partnership is widening to include advanced driver-assistance systems, commonly known as ADAS.
