Preorders Begin for the Sleek Geeek Exo 1 Open-Air Micro-ATX Case—Priced Under $70

Pre-orders are now live for the Geeek Exo 1, a compact micro-ATX open-air PC case designed for builders who want an eye-catching setup without spending a fortune. Priced at $69.90, the Exo 1 targets gamers and PC enthusiasts who like the clean, minimal look of open-frame builds while still wanting support for full-size components.

Open-air PC cases have earned a dedicated following because they’re straightforward to work on. Upgrades, cable adjustments, and quick part swaps are typically easier than with enclosed cases. They’re also a popular choice for anyone who enjoys displaying premium hardware, RGB lighting, or custom cooling setups in a more “showroom” style build. The Geeek Exo 1 leans into that appeal with a simple structure built around a baseplate and an acrylic motherboard tray.

Despite supporting micro-ATX hardware, the Geeek Exo 1 keeps its footprint impressively small. It measures about 40 × 18.5 × 31.5 cm and weighs roughly 2 kg (4.41 lbs), making it a lightweight option for a desk setup or a smaller gaming space.

GPU compatibility is a key highlight. In a standard horizontal GPU configuration, the Exo 1 removes the typical CPU cooler height limitations you’d see in many compact cases. Geeek lists support for up to a quad-slot graphics card, with maximum dimensions of 335 mm in length and 80 mm in width. It may be possible to fit even longer GPUs, but Geeek notes that doing so could interfere with the power switch placement.

Cooling support is also solid for the price. The case can fit two 120 mm fans and supports up to a 240 mm all-in-one liquid cooler, which should make it appealing to builders aiming for strong airflow and good thermals in an open-frame layout. Motherboard support includes both micro-ATX and Mini-ITX, giving builders flexibility depending on their preferred platform and expansion needs.

If you prefer a vertical GPU setup for a more display-focused look, the case maintains the same 335 mm maximum GPU length, and the width restriction is removed. However, vertical mounting does introduce CPU cooler height limits, capped at either 50 mm or 70 mm depending on the exact mounting position. Fan and AIO support remains the same in this configuration.

Power supply compatibility is broad, with support for ATX, SFX-L, and SFX power supplies, which makes planning a build easier whether you’re reusing an existing PSU or starting fresh with a compact unit.

For builders who want to run a vertical GPU configuration, Geeek also offers an optional PCIe 4.0 x16 riser cable for $20. The Exo 1 will be sold in black and white versions, with an estimated shipping date of February 12, 2026.

With its low price, compact size, and support for large GPUs and 240 mm AIO cooling, the Geeek Exo 1 looks positioned as a strong value option for anyone searching for an affordable open-air micro-ATX case that still accommodates high-end gaming hardware.
