MINIX has unveiled its most powerful mini PCs yet, boasting the cutting-edge Strix Point processors to deliver extraordinary performance in a compact design. These new models, ER937-AI and ER936-AI, are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI 9 series, bringing the might of Zen 5 architecture and RDNA 3.5-based graphics to the forefront.
The flagship ER937-AI model features the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chip, equipped with 12 cores and 24 threads capable of reaching speeds up to 5.1GHz. Alongside this, it includes a Radeon 890M GPU with 16 Compute Units, making it perfect for handling demanding graphics tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and content creation. The ER936-AI, on the other hand, is powered by the Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, featuring 10 cores, 20 threads, and a Radeon 880M GPU with 12 Compute Units.
To maintain optimal performance and prevent overheating, both models use advanced vapor chamber cooling with a dual-fan setup, ensuring efficient and quiet operation. Connectivity is a major highlight, with the ER937-AI supporting the latest Tri-band WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for seamless wireless networking. Meanwhile, the ER936-AI supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Both models feature dual RJ-45 2.5G Ethernet ports for ultra-fast wired networking.
These mini PCs are also designed for superior AI performance with powerful AI NPU engines. The ER937-AI delivers up to 80 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) for AI tasks, while the ER936-AI offers up to 73 TOPS. Security is amped up with Windows Hello fingerprint unlock, providing instant access.
In terms of memory and storage, both systems come with 32 GB of DDR5-5600 MT/s memory and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, with the option to expand up to 96 GB of memory and 8 TB of storage.
