According to the latest information, the Poco X8 Pro is powered by a chipset with a modern CPU layout built around one prime core for peak bursts of speed, three performance cores for sustained power, and three efficiency-focused cores designed to keep everyday tasks running smoothly while improving battery-friendly behavior. On the graphics side, it’s said to use a Mali-G720 MP8 GPU, a setup that aligns with what people expect from the Dimensity 8500 class of hardware.
In real-world terms, the leaked benchmarks suggest a modest but noticeable gain where it matters most for responsiveness. The Poco X8 Pro reportedly delivers around 7% faster single-core performance compared to the Poco X7 Pro, which could translate into snappier app launches, smoother interface interactions, and better short-burst performance in daily use. However, multi-core results appear to land roughly on par with last year’s Poco X7 Pro, meaning heavy multi-threaded workloads may not see the same jump as single-core tasks.
