Poco X8 Pro Leak Reveals Key Specs Ahead of Xiaomi’s Global Launch

A fresh leak is shedding more light on Xiaomi’s upcoming Poco X8 Pro, and the details point to a familiar but refined performance upgrade for fans of the series.

According to the latest information, the Poco X8 Pro is powered by a chipset with a modern CPU layout built around one prime core for peak bursts of speed, three performance cores for sustained power, and three efficiency-focused cores designed to keep everyday tasks running smoothly while improving battery-friendly behavior. On the graphics side, it’s said to use a Mali-G720 MP8 GPU, a setup that aligns with what people expect from the Dimensity 8500 class of hardware.

In real-world terms, the leaked benchmarks suggest a modest but noticeable gain where it matters most for responsiveness. The Poco X8 Pro reportedly delivers around 7% faster single-core performance compared to the Poco X7 Pro, which could translate into snappier app launches, smoother interface interactions, and better short-burst performance in daily use. However, multi-core results appear to land roughly on par with last year’s Poco X7 Pro, meaning heavy multi-threaded workloads may not see the same jump as single-core tasks.

The leak also indicates Xiaomi will offer the Poco X8 Pro with 12 GB of RAM and Android 16 right out of the box. That’s a notable point for buyers who prioritize long-term software relevance and want a phone that feels current from day one.

As for pricing and storage, two configurations are rumored for Europe. The higher-end model is said to include 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage with an expected price of €479 (about $569). Meanwhile, the entry configuration should start at 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for €399 (about $475). If these figures hold, the Poco X8 Pro looks positioned to compete aggressively in the upper mid-range segment, especially for shoppers who want plenty of storage without stepping up to flagship pricing.

For now, the biggest unanswered question is timing. A global launch date for the Poco X8 Pro hasn’t been confirmed yet, but with more leaks surfacing, an official reveal may not be far off.
