PlayStation Plus January 2026 Free Games Lineup Unveiled

Sony has officially unveiled the PlayStation Plus free games for January 2026, giving PS Plus members a strong lineup to kick off the new year. The new titles arrive on January 6 and will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe subscribers.

Interestingly, one of the January games had already surfaced in a leak earlier in the day—and the information turned out to be right. Need for Speed Unbound is confirmed as part of the PS Plus January 2026 free games. Released in 2022, it’s the newest mainline entry in the long-running racing series, bringing high-speed street culture, stylish visuals, and intense chases. That said, some subscribers may have already spent time with it, since it previously appeared in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra and Deluxe members.

Also joining the lineup is Core Keeper, a mining-focused sandbox adventure that blends exploration, crafting, and survival. You can play solo or team up with up to eight players online as you dig deeper into a vast underground cavern packed with secrets, strange creatures, and ancient mysteries. It’s the kind of game that hooks players who love building, upgrading gear, and slowly uncovering a world that keeps expanding the further you explore.

Rounding out the January selection is Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, a full remake of the original Epic Mickey rebuilt as a vibrant 3D platformer. Players can expect classic platforming stages, puzzle-solving, and plenty of collectibles—including Disney pins—along with familiar faces and fan-favorite characters such as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. It’s designed to appeal to both long-time Disney game fans and newcomers looking for a polished, modern take on the adventure.

Before January’s PS Plus free games take over, there’s still time to claim the PlayStation Plus free games for December 2025. The current selection includes LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality: Echo of Ada, and Neon White. These games remain available until January 5, after which they’ll be replaced by January 2026’s lineup.
