Philips has launched a new addition to its line of gaming monitors with the Evnia 32M2N6800M, a unit that features advanced Mini LED technology. This monitor is designed to deliver an exceptional gaming experience, boasting 1,152 local dimming zones for precise backlight control and enhanced contrast.
The Evnia 32M2N6800M rivals some of the top gaming displays on the market with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, securing it a VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Gamers can expect crystal-clear visuals thanks to the monitor’s 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160) on a 32-inch IPS panel. Furthermore, the high 144 Hz refresh rate and rapid 1 ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time promote smooth, blur-free gaming action.
Color accuracy is another premium feature of the Evnia 32M2N6800M, with Philips claiming coverage of 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color space and full coverage of the Adobe RGB color gamut. Such color fidelity ensures that the imagery is vivid and true to life, catering to professional gamers and creative users alike.
The monitor comes equipped with an array of ports including one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 inputs, one USB Type-B upstream, and three USB Type-A ports, with support for fast charging for one of them. To add to the user’s convenience, Philips has included an adjustable stand, enhancing ergonomics and viewing comfort.
Philips has also integrated its third-generation Ambiglow ambient light technology into the Evnia 32M2N6800M, setting it apart from many competitors. Ambiglow enhances the immersive experience by projecting a halo of light on the wall behind the monitor, which synchronizes with the screen content.
Currently, the Evnia 32M2N6800M is available exclusively in China, retailing for approximately CNY 4,999, equivalent to about $695. However, the release pattern of previous Philips Evnia monitors, such as the Evnia 32M2C5500W and Evnia 49M2C8900, which became available globally, suggests that international availability may occur in the future.
