PeakDo LinkPower 3 Arrives With Longer Battery Life and Wi-Fi Monitoring for Starlink Mini
PeakDo has introduced the LinkPower 3, the latest version of its portable power bank designed specifically for the Starlink Mini. This new model brings a modest but useful upgrade over the previous generation, offering longer runtime and Wi-Fi-based monitoring while keeping most of the core design and hardware features the same.
The LinkPower series was created to give Starlink Mini users a more portable way to stay connected in places where wall power is limited or unavailable. The first LinkPower model launched with a 99Wh battery and delivered more than four hours of use when attached to Starlink’s compact satellite dish. PeakDo later followed up with the LinkPower 2, and now the LinkPower 3 has arrived as the third model in the lineup within less than a year.
The biggest improvement with the LinkPower 3 is battery life. Although it still uses a 99Wh, 27,500mAh battery like the earlier models, PeakDo says the new version can power a Starlink Mini for more than 5.5 hours. That is a small step up from the LinkPower 2, which was rated for more than five hours, and a more noticeable improvement over the original LinkPower, which offered over 4.5 hours of runtime.
Another key addition is Wi-Fi monitoring. With this feature, users can check and manage the power bank over a Wi-Fi connection instead of relying only on Bluetooth or the built-in smart display. PeakDo says Wi-Fi offers better range than Bluetooth, and it also allows users to monitor battery status remotely as long as there is an internet connection. For people using Starlink Mini in outdoor setups, RVs, campsites, remote workstations, or emergency backup situations, this could make the device easier to manage from a distance.
Aside from the improved runtime and Wi-Fi support, the LinkPower 3 keeps many of the same features found on the LinkPower 2. It supports charging through a magnetic DC port using the original Starlink Mini adapter. There is also a standard DC port and a two-way USB-C Power Delivery port. The USB-C port can charge other devices at up to 65W and can also recharge the LinkPower 3 itself at up to 100W.
The power bank also includes a bypass function. This allows the Starlink Mini to draw power directly from an external source while the LinkPower 3 is being charged. This is especially helpful for users who want to keep their satellite internet setup running continuously without interruption.
PeakDo has also retained several practical design features. The LinkPower 3 includes magnetic plates for improved heat dissipation, tripod support for easier mounting, and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. That makes it better suited for outdoor use, where weather protection and stable mounting options can be important.
The LinkPower 3 is priced at $289, though it is currently being offered at a discounted price of $249. That makes it slightly more expensive than the LinkPower 2. The package includes a magnetic DC cable and a regular DC cable, while optional accessories such as a car charger and suction mounts are sold separately.
For current Starlink Mini owners, the PeakDo LinkPower 3 could be a useful upgrade if longer battery life and Wi-Fi monitoring are important. It is particularly appealing for users who take their Starlink Mini on the road, use it for off-grid internet, or need a compact backup power solution during travel or outages.
However, buyers may want to consider future Starlink hardware plans before purchasing. Reports suggest that a next-generation Starlink Mini 2 may include a built-in battery, which could reduce the need for an external power bank like the LinkPower 3. For now, though, the LinkPower 3 remains one of the more convenient portable power options for the current Starlink Mini.
