Palworld Performance Analysis: Gaming Benchmarks on Laptops and Desktops

Performance benchmarking is critical for gamers who want to ensure their systems can handle the latest titles. In this review, we look at how the game Palworld performs across various graphics cards and processors when played on laptops and desktops. Different graphical settings such as Low, Medium, High, and Epic presets with AA:TSR are considered.

At the top of the performance spectrum, a desktop setup equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and an i9-13900K processor achieved frame rates that set a high bar, ranging from 237 fps on the Low preset to 218 fps on the High preset, demonstrating the impressive capabilities of the latest high-end hardware.

AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XT also showed strong performance in a desktop configuration, though it lagged slightly behind NVIDIA’s offering, with frame rates hovering around 173.9 fps on the Low preset and dropping to 149.9 fps on the High preset.

When assessing high-end laptop GPUs, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU paired with an i9-13900H processor managed to push out 171.6 fps on Low settings and 138.8 fps on High settings, proving that top-tier laptop GPUs can still deliver impressive gaming experiences.

A notch below, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU housed in a Razer Blade 16 Mid ’23 laptop recorded frame rates of 162.3 fps on Low settings and edged down to 130.8 fps on High settings, showcasing competent performance for a premium gaming laptop.

The mid-range NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, combined with an i9-13900HX in the XXMG Pro 15 E23, produced above 100 fps on Low settings, but figures dropped to just above 108 fps on High settings, reflecting the performance trade-off in the mid-range segment.

The entry-level NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, when paired with a Ryzen 9 7940HS in a Razer Blade 14 Mid ’23, delivered playable frame rates of around 110.7 fps on Low and dipped to 87.8 fps on High settings, illustrating that gamers can still enjoy decent gaming with slightly older or less powerful hardware.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU in a Medion Erazer Scout E20 maintained 99.1 fps on Low settings, but not without a drop to 74.9 fps on High settings, indicating it is well-suited for casual gaming.

For AMD fans, the Radeon RX 7600S integrated with a Ryzen 9 7940HS in the Asus TUF Gaming Advantage A16 had its best performance on the Low preset with 117 fps, and a reduction to 69.5 fps on the High preset, depicting a solid performance for AMD’s mobile GPU.

Finally, the AMD Radeon 780M paired with a Ryzen 9 7940HS in the same Asus TUF Gaming Advantage A16 struggled to maintain high frame rates, generating only around 37.9 fps on Low and 20.2 fps on High settings, pointing out its limitations for more demanding gaming scenarios.

These benchmarks offer valuable insights for gamers looking to optimize their gaming setup, whether they’re considering a new purchase or evaluating their current system’s capabilities.
