A new ultra-slim magnetic power bank called the Ozone is aiming to be one of the smallest options available for Apple’s iPhone Air. Built with MagSafe-style magnetic attachment, it’s designed to sit neatly on the back of the phone without adding much bulk, making it an appealing pick for anyone who wants extra battery life but hates carrying chunky accessories.
The Ozone comes in two versions, each focused on a different balance of size and capacity. The 3,000mAh model measures about 4.29 x 2.78 x 0.20 inches, while the 5,000mAh version is slightly shorter but thicker at around 4.07 x 2.78 x 0.26 inches. Both are offered in multiple color options, and they’re extremely lightweight for everyday carry, weighing roughly 2.72 ounces for the smaller model and about 3.42 ounces for the higher-capacity version.
In real-world use, charging speed matters just as much as capacity. Both Ozone models support up to 7.5W wireless charging for the iPhone Air, along with up to 15W wireless charging for Android devices. There’s also a USB-C port that can recharge the power bank itself at 10W to 15W, and it can double as a wired charging option for other devices. Over USB-C, the bigger 5,000mAh model can output up to 20W, while the 3,000mAh version tops out at 15W.
As for how much extra battery you can expect, the manufacturer claims the compact 3,000mAh model can recharge an iPhone Air to about 62%, while the 5,000mAh version can deliver a full charge. That makes the smaller option a good fit for light daily top-ups, while the larger one is better for travelers, long workdays, or anyone who regularly runs their phone down to single digits.
The Ozone is currently being offered through a crowdfunding campaign, where the 3,000mAh and 5,000mAh models can be reserved starting at $45. Keep in mind that shipping, as well as any import fees and taxes, may add to the final cost. It’s also worth noting the campaign has not reached its funding target at the time of writing, and as with any crowdfunding project, backers should understand that delivery timelines and final product quality are not guaranteed.
For iPhone Air users searching for a compact MagSafe-compatible power bank, the Ozone positions itself as a minimalist, pocket-friendly solution that prioritizes slim design while still promising practical charging performance.
