Xiaomi Unveils Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank with 45W Fast Charging

Xiaomi is back with a slimmer take on a high-capacity portable charger, unveiling its new UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank with a bigger battery and faster charging than the earlier model launched in January 2026. The headline upgrade is capacity: this version is rated at 10,000mAh, doubling the 5,000mAh battery from the previous UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank. For anyone who relies on a magnetic power bank for daily commutes, travel, or long workdays, that extra capacity could translate into significantly more top-ups without hunting for a wall outlet.

A bigger battery does come with one trade-off: thickness. Xiaomi says the 10,000mAh UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank measures 13.2mm, compared to just 6mm on the 5,000mAh model. Even so, it still aims to sit in a sweet spot for people who want a thin, pocket-friendly magnetic charger without stepping down to a smaller battery. Xiaomi also notes it’s relatively light for its class, weighing about 195 grams, which should make it easier to carry in a pocket or bag compared with many typical 10,000mAh power banks.

Charging speed is another major improvement. The new UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank supports up to 45W fast charging over a wired connection, which is a meaningful jump from the 22.5W wired output offered on the 5,000mAh version. Wireless charging also gets a boost, reaching up to 20W, up from 15W previously. For users deciding between wired and wireless charging, this update makes both options more compelling—wired for maximum speed, and magnetic wireless for convenience when you want to snap your phone on and keep moving.

Port selection remains simple, with a single USB-C port on the 10,000mAh model. Despite having just one port, Xiaomi says the power bank can recharge up to two devices at the same time—typically meaning one device via wireless and another via USB-C. Compatibility should also be strong thanks to broad charging protocol support, including PD 3.0, QC 3.0, Apple 2.4A, and FCP, helping it play nicely with a wide mix of phones, tablets, and other gadgets.

Other features include 30W fast recharging for the power bank itself, multiple built-in safety protections, and strong magnets designed to keep the charger securely attached during use—key factors for anyone shopping specifically for a magnetic power bank that won’t feel bulky or unreliable.

For pricing and availability, Xiaomi has launched the 45W UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank through its Youpin crowdfunding platform, listed at CNY 349 (around $51). Since the earlier 5,000mAh UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank eventually made it to international markets, this higher-capacity 10,000mAh version is also expected to roll out globally in the future.
