Orico Unveils Compact 8-in-1 25W GaN Power Strip with 5-Foot Extension Cord

Orico is expanding its charging lineup with a new 8-in-1 25W GaN power strip aimed at anyone who wants a neater, more organized desk or bedside setup. Designed to reduce cable chaos while keeping multiple devices powered at once, this compact strip targets modern workspaces where phones, tablets, earbuds, laptops, and accessories all compete for outlets.

One of the biggest highlights is its space-saving plug design. Orico uses a 0.43-inch ultra-thin flat plug paired with a 45-degree right-angle orientation, making it easier to fit in cramped areas behind beds, desks, TV cabinets, and sofas. If you’ve ever fought to push furniture flush against a wall because a bulky plug was in the way, this design choice will immediately make sense.

Despite being small and lightweight, the power strip is built to handle a full charging station’s worth of gear. It measures 3.82 x 3.07 x 1.26 inches (97 x 77.9 x 32 mm) and weighs about 8.8 ounces (249 grams), so it won’t dominate your workspace or add unnecessary bulk to your setup. A fixed 5 ft (60-inch) extension cable also provides extra flexibility for finding the right placement.

In terms of connectivity, Orico includes 8 total outputs: 4 AC outlets, 2 USB-C ports, and 2 USB-A ports. That means you can plug in up to eight devices simultaneously—ideal for shared desks, home offices, nightstands, gaming setups, or anyone managing multiple chargers every day.

Charging performance is led by the USB-C ports, which can deliver up to 25W, while the USB-A ports are capped at up to 22.5W. Orico claims a single 25W USB-C port can charge an iPhone 17 Pro from 0% to 60% in about 30 minutes, which puts it in the fast-charging range most users want for quick top-ups between meetings, classes, or travel prep.

Safety features are also a key part of the pitch. The power strip is FCC certified and UL tested, and it includes protections against short circuits, overheating, over-voltage, and over-current. Orico also adds a fire-resistant shell, which is an important reassurance for a device designed to stay plugged in and powering several items at once.

There is one notable omission: it doesn’t include a built-in power switch, so users who prefer to cut power to all connected devices with a single toggle won’t get that convenience here.

Pricing is set at $29.99, but Orico is also running a launch offer with a $10 instant discount, bringing the price down to $19.99. Color options include black, purple, white, and blue, giving buyers a little more freedom to match their desk aesthetic instead of settling for the usual basic black.
