Oppo’s 50W Magnetic Charger 2 Goes Global With Cooler, Stand-Ready Power

Oppo AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger 2 launches globally with faster wireless charging and active cooling

Oppo has started expanding the availability of its AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger 2 beyond China, bringing the upgraded magnetic wireless charger to several markets in Europe and Asia. The accessory is designed for users who want fast, convenient wireless charging with better heat management and a more flexible desktop setup.

The charger was first introduced in China alongside the Oppo Find N6 foldable and now serves as the successor to Oppo’s original AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger from 2024. While the core purpose remains the same, the new version adds design improvements, stronger cooling performance, and broader compatibility with modern wireless charging standards.

The Oppo AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger 2 can deliver up to 50W wireless charging for compatible Oppo and OnePlus smartphones. According to Oppo, it can charge the Find N6 from 0% to 50% in around 34 minutes, making it a practical option for users who want quick top-ups without reaching for a cable.

One of the biggest upgrades is support for Qi2.2 wireless charging. This makes the charger more useful beyond Oppo’s own ecosystem, allowing it to charge compatible iPhones at up to 25W. It can also work with supported Android devices, including newer models from brands such as Google, provided they support the required wireless charging standard.

Oppo has also focused on keeping temperatures under control. The AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger 2 features an upgraded built-in fan and improved airflow for more effective active cooling. This is especially useful during high-speed wireless charging, where heat can affect charging efficiency and long-term battery health.

The charger includes three operating modes, giving users more control depending on the situation. There is a standard charging mode, a cooling-only mode, and a silent cooling and charging mode for quieter use at a desk or bedside table.

Another useful feature is its flexible design. The charger can be used on its own as a compact magnetic charging puck, or it can be attached to the included stand for a more convenient desktop charging setup. With the stand, users can keep their phone upright while charging, making it easier to check notifications, take calls, or use the device hands-free.

Availability currently includes select European countries such as Germany, France, and Spain. The charger has also launched in Japan and Malaysia. Oppo has not yet confirmed when or whether it will be released in the UK.

Pricing varies by region. In Germany and France, the Oppo AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger 2 is priced at €79.90. In Spain, it has a listed price of €129, though it is currently available at a lower promotional price of €69. In Japan, it costs ¥12,800, while in Malaysia it is priced at RM 299.

With 50W wireless charging for supported Oppo and OnePlus phones, Qi2.2 compatibility for iPhones and other Android devices, active cooling, and an included stand, the Oppo AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger 2 is positioned as a versatile premium wireless charger for users who want speed, convenience, and better thermal control in one accessory.
