Oppo F35 5G launched in India with 8,000mAh battery, 80W charging, and 50MP selfie camera
Oppo has introduced its new F35 series in India, bringing two 5G smartphones to the market: the Oppo F35 5G and Oppo F35 Pro 5G. Among the two, the standard Oppo F35 5G stands out for its massive battery, fast charging support, bright AMOLED display, and durable body design.
The Oppo F35 5G features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,372 x 1,080 pixels. The screen supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for scrolling, gaming, and everyday media consumption. It also offers 800 nits of typical brightness, which should help improve visibility in outdoor conditions.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. Oppo is offering the phone in two RAM options: 6GB and 8GB. Both variants come with 128GB of internal storage. To help manage heat during heavier use, the smartphone is equipped with a 4,300mm² vapor chamber cooling system.
For photography, the Oppo F35 5G includes a dual rear camera setup. It has a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, the phone gets a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, which should appeal to users who frequently take selfies, record videos, or make video calls.
One of the biggest highlights of the Oppo F35 5G is its large 8,000mAh battery. This gives the phone a major advantage for users who want extended battery life for travel, gaming, streaming, or work. The device supports 80W wired fast charging, and Oppo says the battery can charge from 1% to 45% in around 30 minutes. It also supports 10W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to charge other compatible devices in emergencies.
The smartphone also comes with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric security. Another notable feature is its strong dust and water resistance, with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. These ratings make the phone more resilient against dust, splashes, water exposure, and high-pressure water jets.
The Oppo F35 5G appears to share similarities with the global Oppo A7 Pro 5G, including the same 8,000mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max processor. However, the F35 5G offers faster 80W charging, while the A7 Pro 5G supports 45W charging. One missing feature on the F35 5G is NFC connectivity.
Oppo is offering the F35 5G in three color options: Wave Blue, Mist Pink, and Titanium Grey. In India, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at INR 38,999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs INR 42,999.
With its huge battery, fast charging, AMOLED display, 50MP front camera, and rugged water-resistant build, the Oppo F35 5G is positioned as a strong option for buyers looking for a long-lasting 5G smartphone in India.
