Oppo Unveils K15 Pro+ and K15 Pro with Massive 8,000mAh Si-C Battery and Built-In Cooling Fan

Oppo has added two new models to its popular K-series lineup in China: the Oppo K15 Pro+ and the Oppo K15 Pro. Both phones focus on big batteries, fast charging, and high-refresh AMOLED displays, aiming to attract users who want long endurance and smooth everyday performance without jumping into flagship pricing.

Oppo K15 Pro+ highlights: Dimensity 9500s, 165Hz AMOLED, active cooling, 8,000mAh battery

The Oppo K15 Pro+ is the more premium of the pair, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. It comes paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers up to 512GB of fast UFS 4.1 storage, which should help with quicker app loads and better multitasking.

On the front, Oppo equips the K15 Pro+ with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display featuring a 2772 x 1272 resolution, a super-smooth 165Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 1,800 nits. That combination is designed for fluid gaming, crisp scrolling, and easier outdoor viewing.

One of the standout additions is the cooling setup. Along with a large vapor chamber, the K15 Pro+ includes a physical cooling fan. Oppo says the fan can reduce the device temperature by as much as 5°C, which could help maintain performance during longer gaming sessions.

For cameras, the K15 Pro+ includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization) and an 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 16MP front camera.

Battery life is a major focus here. The phone packs an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 100W wired charging. It also includes reverse wired charging and bypass charging, a feature that can power the phone directly from the charger during gaming to reduce heat and battery wear.

On the software side, it runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, though Oppo hasn’t shared details yet about how long the device will receive updates. Other notable extras include IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Oppo K15 Pro: slightly smaller display, Dimensity 8500, 7,500mAh battery

The standard Oppo K15 Pro keeps the same overall philosophy but scales down a few specs to hit a lower price point. It features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, and offers up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Camera hardware is simpler, led by a 50MP primary camera. Battery capacity remains huge at 7,500mAh with silicon-carbon tech, and charging is still fast at 80W wired charging. Like the Pro+ model, it also supports reverse wired charging and bypass charging, which is still relatively rare at this price level.
