Oppo has expanded its popular Reno lineup with the new Oppo Reno 15c, a mid-range smartphone that focuses on the features people care about most: long battery life, a bright high-refresh AMOLED display, capable cameras, and serious durability. Despite packing a massive power cell and top-tier water and dust protection, the Reno 15c keeps a slim profile at just under 7.9 mm, making it a practical daily phone that doesn’t feel bulky.
One of the biggest talking points is its rugged build. The Reno 15c comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, meaning it’s designed to handle everything from rain and splashes to high-pressure water exposure. It’s available in three eye-catching finishes: College Blue, Aurora Blue, and Starlight Bow.
Up front, Oppo equips the Reno 15c with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display featuring a sharp 2,760 × 1,256 resolution (460 ppi). The panel supports up to a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming, offers 10-bit color depth for richer gradients, and reaches up to 1,200 nits peak brightness for better outdoor visibility. An optical fingerprint scanner is built under the display for convenient unlocking.
Performance is handled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built on TSMC’s N4P process. Oppo pairs it with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a combination aimed at keeping app launches fast, multitasking smooth, and overall performance responsive for everyday use.
Battery life is another major win here. The Reno 15c includes a large 6,500 mAh battery, backed by fast charging up to 80 W, which should appeal to users who stream, game, or work on the go and don’t want to worry about running out of power throughout the day.
On the software side, the phone runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, offering a modern Android experience with Oppo’s interface and features layered on top.
Camera hardware is also a strong point for this segment. The rear triple-camera system includes a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3.5x zoom plus OIS and an f/2.8 lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 116-degree field of view. For selfies, Oppo adds a 50-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 lens, aiming to deliver detailed self-portraits and sharper video calls.
With its large battery, fast charging, bright 120 Hz AMOLED screen, modern Snapdragon chipset, and a versatile camera setup—wrapped in a slim, highly water-resistant design—the Oppo Reno 15c positions itself as a compelling mid-range option for buyers who want premium-style features without stepping into flagship pricing.
