Oppo Find X9s Goes Global: Compact Powerhouse Packs 7,025mAh Battery, Triple 50MP Cameras, and Tough IP69 Protection

Oppo has officially introduced the Oppo Find X9s to the global stage, positioning it as a photography-first flagship built for people who travel, shoot, and stream on the go. Branded the “Hasselblad Travel Companion,” the Find X9s mixes premium imaging, a sleek modern design, and one of the biggest batteries you’ll find in a slim flagship phone.

A major part of the Find X9s appeal is its display-and-design combo. You get a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, surrounded by strikingly uniform 1.15mm ultra-thin bezels for a clean, immersive look. Protection comes from Gorilla Glass 7i, helping the screen stand up better to everyday wear.

The standout upgrade, though, is power. The Oppo Find X9s packs a massive 7,025 mAh battery—an eye-catching number for a phone that measures just 7.99mm thick. It also supports 80W fast charging, aiming to reduce downtime for users who are constantly on the move. Durability is another strong point: the phone carries triple IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings, meaning it’s built to resist dust, handle water submersion, and even withstand high-pressure water jets.

Under the hood, the Find X9s runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. On the software side, it ships with ColorOS 16.0 based on Android 16. Oppo is also promising long-term support, with four major Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates—important for anyone who keeps a flagship for several years.

Oppo is leaning heavily into AI features this generation, centering much of the experience around a new AI Mind Space hub designed to act like a personal “second brain.” It’s built to capture, organize, and summarize content like voice notes, screenshots, and documents. Other AI additions include AI Mind Pilot for more context-aware assistance using your saved data, plus AI Imaging tools such as AI Portrait Glow for virtual lighting effects, AI Eraser, and an AI Clarity Enhancer for sharper results. There are also productivity-focused extras like AI Writer for captions, AI Call Summary for auto-generated notes, and AI Menu Translation for travelers. Oppo also highlights improved cross-device sharing, including smoother transfers and notification syncing with iOS devices through an enhanced sharing feature.

For camera fans, the Oppo Find X9s comes co-developed with Hasselblad tuning and features a triple 50MP camera setup with support for up to 4K/60fps video recording. The main camera is a 50MP f/1.8 sensor with optical image stabilization and a 1/1.56-inch sensor size. The telephoto camera is also 50MP with OIS, offering 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and up to 120x SuperZoom. Rounding things out is a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view.

Connectivity is ready for the latest standards, including Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.1, and eSIM support. Color options include Midnight Grey, Lavender Sky, and Sunset Orange.

Oppo hasn’t confirmed full global pricing yet, but a Malaysia listing places the 12GB + 512GB model at 3,599 MYR, which is about $910 when converted.
