Oppo looks like it’s preparing to expand its Find X9 lineup with a new model called the Find X9s, positioned as a more affordable flagship option. While the phone is expected to arrive soon, the latest leak suggests buyers outside China may get a slightly different mix of hardware—though the headline features still sound seriously impressive, including a massive 7,025mAh battery and fast 100W charging.
Earlier information about the China-only version painted the Find X9s as a compact flagship with a 6.3-inch display, high-end camera hardware, and a top-tier MediaTek chipset. The newest report, however, claims the global Oppo Find X9s will be altered in a few key areas to hit a lower price point in international markets.
One of the biggest changes could be the screen size. Instead of the smaller 6.3-inch panel, the global Find X9s is rumored to feature a 6.59-inch display. It’s still expected to sit below the larger Find X9 Pro in overall footprint, but it won’t be as compact as the version rumored for China. The panel is said to be a 120Hz AMOLED with a sharp 1.5K resolution—specs that should keep scrolling smooth and visuals crisp for gaming, streaming, and everyday use.
Performance may also be adjusted for global buyers. The device is rumored to swap the flagship-grade chipset expected in China for a slightly lower-tier variant, which could help Oppo keep costs down while still delivering strong day-to-day speed and efficiency.
Camera hardware is another area where the international model may be simplified. Instead of the ultra-high-resolution sensors rumored previously, the global Oppo Find X9s is said to come with a triple 50MP rear camera setup. That includes a 50MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom, which is a notable inclusion for a “more affordable” flagship. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera is expected.
Despite the rumored compromises, battery life could be a major selling point. The global Find X9s is tipped to keep the huge 7,025mAh battery, paired with USB-C fast charging up to 100W—an appealing combination for users who want long endurance without giving up quick top-ups.
In terms of memory and storage, the phone is expected to launch with 12GB of RAM and offer either 256GB or 512GB of storage, which should be plenty for photos, apps, and high-resolution video.
For now, there’s no confirmed international launch date or official pricing. Current expectations suggest the China debut could happen in March, with global availability potentially coming later. If these specs hold, the Oppo Find X9s could end up being one of the more interesting “value flagship” phones to watch—especially for buyers who prioritize battery life, fast charging, and a versatile camera system.
